If you want to know how Kevin Rudd treats women then read this.
Picture this scene. A female friend of mine was sitting outside a venue in Brisbane having a drink with her friend, a judge who was known to Rudd.
At the time, Rudd was campaigning during his first election and greeted his friend. They had a conversation during which Rudd was introduced to my friend.
Rudd flippantly said to her. “You know something? We could do with your help in the electoral office. We need some nice lady to make the tea and coffee around the place.”
My friend declined this condescending and patronising invitation. She was too busy, she said to Rudd, as she held a professional position.
